Agreed. Anyway, the big breakthrough Nicky Hayden found last week was to turn the traction control way down, so the 800 has more power and slides around like the old 990s.

So it isnt even possible that Rossi could lose the championship because Stoner earned the victory? That seems a tad unfair, especially as a statement made so early in the season.


All things being equal, I'll take Rossi every time.  Stoner is going to earn his championship on the back of a superior bike.   There's nothing wrong with that.

Put Rossi on the Duc, and the end is a forgone conclusion.

I've watched it. Yeah, he binned it, but he was racing at the front and had been consistently fast all weekend. That counts as a major breakthrough in his disastrous season.
