When I got my first bike, my mom looked at my full-face Arai and said: "But how will you be able to hear your wife talking?"

I just smiled.

My wife likes it just fine. She can see around the leg room is more than the rider gets and buffetting is minimal with the MRA varioscreen.
It is a PIA for her to get on with the bags mounted and I would think it would be worse with a top box.

My girl prefers the bags to be there when she mounts and rides. I can't speak for her as I didn't really ask why, but it seems to give her a more warm cozy feeling.  Lol

We got to our hotel, and she got off and said, "Baby, my ass is on fire!" Of course, I didn't quite take her meaning, and was thinking: Awww, yeah! And she said, "No, I'm serious, my backside is burning up!" And then I understood that she was talking about the pillion bun-roaster underseat exhaust... Drat.

My girl uses my left peg to mount the pillion.

my girl wants a better touring bike, she has trouble mounting and dismounting. as for the ride, she liked the concours better, (more room). i told her i'd get a wing or an electra glide, as soon as she could come up with the money Lol. until then, long rides are my alone time Bigok
