After months of fighting it, I broke down and did it. Say hello to my little friend...

Thanks. I took her out for about an hour last night... what a difference from my last bike! (Kawi Z750S). The torque is addicting. I laughed out loud every time I cracked the throttle.

Everytime I see a Buell XB12Ss, I swear to myself that will be my next bike. Good luck w/it. Now go get a Drummer exhaust & do some mods & that bike will be even a bigger blast than it already is.

"Resistance is futile" is a ADVrider term.
And here I always thought that was a Borg term, along with "You will be assimilated."

Thanks everybody. It's largely due to the posters here that I started considering a Buell for my next ride. I owe you guys! I can't get enough of this thing

Thanks for the kind words, everybody. I took the bike out for it's first extended ride on Friday, about 150 miles total. For anyone familiar w/North Jersey, it was 519 in Sussex county, then up to High Point State Park. Awesome roads and the bike was fantastic. After a while it's almost like it's wired to my brain. I love it!
