I got a pair of 'Stich ropers in size 10 and they are HUGE on me. 10 was exactly where my hand fell on the glove size chart in their catalog, so I'm confused.

huge how? width? length of fingers? hands are tough to fit, as two folks with the same "size" hand cannot wear the same gloves --

I wish I had something to add, but I'm just watching this thread too. Considering buying either the ropers or the gauntlets in the future. From what I've heard the two fit a little differently.

I also bought a pair based on the little chart that Aerostich provides. They were too big. Had to send them back for a pair one size smaller. Seems like the rule of thumb is to order one a size smaller than the chart shows.

The size 10 had a lot of room in the palms and the fingers were too long. My hands are slender rather than meaty, so I usually take a medium glove. I've never tried a pair with actual numerical sizes.  I sent 'em back and asked for size 9. 10 is on the border of medium and large, 9 nine is small/medium, so maybe I'll have better luck.

Brief thread revival just because at least one person wanted the info. I received my new ropers in size 9 and they fit like, well, like a glove. Wink I guess the lesson is to order one size smaller than is indicated on the 'Stich glove size chart.

I went 1/2 size smaller based upon a friend's experience.  He said that after they get wet a few times and kind of conform to my hands, 1/2 size smaller would be just about correct

I accidently ordered one size too small. They were snug and got soaked on my first trip with 'em. Now the fit perfect: most comfortable glove I've had.  Thumbsup

My pair came in the mail yesterday and... me likey!  Nice fit, much more comfortable than the Well Lamont work gloves I used until today.  Given how much money I pissed away on other gloves, I'd have been miles ahead to pay the $39 once instead of $10-15 at least four times over.   Nuts

Dood, interesting bike. Did you customize it yourself, or was it all f*cked up when you bought it?

Um, I came in as about a 9.5 and that's what I ordered.  No worries with fit.  BTW, there's a small insert in the bag with the gloves and it says they may shrink some if they get wet, but they should also stretch back to the right fit after a while.

UPDATE: My size 9 Ropers arrived yesterday. They are a slight bit big in the fingers but otherwise fit well.
