This bike has had a good review in the mainstream London press in the past week. My first sighting of the new BMW F800s parallel twin. Nice looking machine. The belt drive is sure a change.

Nope, the gas tank is under the seat- see the filler? The faux tank is likely hiding the airbox and/or some other goodies. I think it looks better from a different angle, and in yellow.

Maybe you'll like these views taken on a October biz trip to Germany

BMW had the S and the ST at the Long Beach show. I really liked the ST. The ergos fit me better. More like my Sprint with risers.
The guy on the floor said they'll be coming to the US in March.

I asked at my local dealer yesterday, and he said they expect the first ones in January.
I'm gonna have to at least go and sit on one.
Careful. It sits nice.

Spoke to the rep at the IMS today in MI. He say's they wont start production for export until february and not to expect the first ones to hit here till late March. Both the S and ST looked very nice and the ST was extremely comfortable. Not sure if I like the factory luggage or not.

That is the information that BMW Motorrad USA is providing to the dealers

...and I don't believe it as the dealer just over the border in Vancouver has them.
Silly BMW; just when I feel grumpiest about my bike. I'd test ride one if it was on the floor.
