1. I'm in the greater Kansas City Area
2. Looking at a 2002 Bandit
3. it has 629 Miles on it.
4. It has a tank bra, yoshi exhaust, K&N air filter, and an at this point unnamed jet kit.
5.  The firm price is $5,000
6.  i have ridden this bike about 4 miles but I road an 03 a couple of years ago for about 50 miles and found it to be VERY comfortable.

thanks for any feedback.

Bandits don't have a great resale value. I would offer $4200. I have a 2000 Bandit 1200, and would be lucky to get $3500.

MCN (current issue) gives the '02 price as $4035 and  $3800 for the naked.  However, 629 miles is nothing; and it's not even broken in. The tires are at the end of their life due to age and should be replaced. I'd be somewhat concerned that the bike basically sat and wasn't run. Was the oil changed? It should have been, from moisture accumulation, if for no other reason. The aftermarket muffler is a wise move. The OEM is an overly heavy POS.  The low mileage makes it attractive. Raise the points that I made with the seller, see what he says.  If he can reduce the price by a couple of hundred to offset the tires, go for it.  Rolleyes

Thats a good point about the tires,  I hadn't thought about that.   From what i understand he has had the oil changed a total of 4 times since he bought it in 04.  I'll bring up the tires and see if he'll knock it down a couple hundred.

Thanks

Make sure it's behind the cut-off for oil burners, or that it's been repaired. They extend into the 2002s.
