Crickets chirping.....
As nobody here seems to know anything about the Paso I suggest you check the Yahoo boards. Here's one devoted to pasos.
http://autos.groups.yahoo.com/group/paso/There are also some ex Paso owners on the Ducati ST list.
http://autos.groups.yahoo.com/group/st2_owners/They are a friendly bunch and I am sure you can get info there.
My only personal experience of a Paso was a demo ride that I took on one many years ago. I wasn't impressed with the 16 inch front wheel fitted because it was fashionable at the time, but I think they went to larger wheels eventually. I also remember that the early ones had a Weber twin choke carb rather than twin carbs, and not everyone was happy with that so lots were converted to twin Dell'Ortos. If I was looking for a Paso I would go for the later fuel injected 907ie.
Just a thought, if you are thinking about a Paso why not go for an ST2? Quality control was much improved by the time the ST2 came along, you have water cooling, fuel injection, 17 inch wheels, integrated panniers etc, and used prices in the UK are ridiculously low at the moment. There are some real bargains around if you look.
Cheers,
Allen
