No it was no fun, I slipped and fell down my basement stairs.   Don't ask, but it hurt.

I saw a palm-GPS on one of the bikes at the meet, but I didn't find out who's.

I've got a palm and I'm thinking of getting a GPS kit for it...  sure would like to talk to someone that's already got it.

I'm running a Tom Tom Navigator 5 on my HP iPaq with GREAT success.  It uses a very small GPS receiver via Bluetooth. Happy to answer any questions you have.

That would be me.  It's an old M500 attached to a Magellan unit.  Picked up the Magellan from Palm's online store a couple of years ago when they were closing them out.  All the M500's have come from EBay.  Screen cracked on the first one but it continued to work.  Paid $40 bucks for that one 2 years ago.  After the screen broke got two more off Ebay for $5.00.  They both work fine.  With the 2 backup units I now have $103 invested in my GPS.  Run Delorme software on it.  Works fine.  Not the fastest processor out there but it gets the job done.
