The blue with the gold wheels is nice!   Inlove

What's also nice is the 198 horsepower.    Bigok

No mention of a new frame, so how much can be swapped to the Gen I bikes?

It looks just like the old one.  It's heavier too.

The Suzuki site talks about a pretty large number of changes to the motor and chassis.

+1  To the untrained eye or seeing one go down the road you wouldn't notice the difference.  Engine's probably a little more peppy on top.

Here are a few more pics showing some rear end and dash details.  That rear end looks like something off a custom chopper.  Ugh. Crazy

Indeed, the rear has a resemblance of the M109R.

It'll be interesting to see which comes to market first, the 2008 C14, or this?

Mebbe the marketing dudes at Kawazuki thought they got green-lighted.. when months later the lawyers are still crossing all their T's.  (and prudence may be good with a 200hp bike....think back on the K12S debacle  Crazy )

That tail design is ugly!  Thumbsdown  The front end isn't so bad, but they made the back end look like a front end or something.  Lol Rolleyes

I'll be keeping the 2000.

Eh, seriously, pull off the hump and put on the passenger pad and it won't be half bad. It absolutely *can't* be worse than the uber-pinstriped ZX-14R special edition, however. Suzi has managed to build, in fact, the second-fastest *and* second-ugliest bike, in one package. 'Course, "second fastest" may require re-examination when it hits the street...

Me thinks there will be a ton of money to be made in aftermarket tail sections.

I was seriously going to put off a bike purchase for a year in anticipation. Well let's say I am glad I couldn't wait.

I just don't see guys who want a powerful fast machine like the busa getting to nancy boy about the styling.   In this class it's all about performance.   They'll sell just fine.   I like the modern/retro analog clocks and twin exhausts.

It looks like a chopper for Christ sakes! I bet there are Engineers at Suzuki falling on their swords as we speak!

That tail section looks like a pug mating with a football, and someone put eyes on the football.

You could have sex with Roseanne Barr and you could have sex with Jessica Alba, which one would you rather look at huh?

I've checked out some Busa forums since the pics came out and some like the changes and some don't (duh). I've read where some say the tail section does not bother them, and some hate it. I have yet to read where anyone LIKES it. I think it looks like ass. Really.  I need to see it in person though.  When the ZX-14 came out I thought it looked terrible. I saw one in person at the region 6 meet n eat, and it is one nice machine. I still doubt if the looks of that tail section will ever grow on me. I agree that there will be a lot of aftermarket sales.
