I agree!!!
It seems the entire cetral section of the country is soaked.
The 4th of July is what I always thought of as the mid point of summer and we haven't had a dry weekend in so long I'm thinking about trading the scooter for a personal watercraft. At least I could get some use out of it.

Well..............there's only a finite amount of water and there's an awful lot of it over here just now, so you never know.

I tried to make it stop raining, I stopped washing my truck, I aways have rain gear, Hell I even dropped my motorcycle off at the dealer to get serviced.

I can't help you anymore other than to say it will rain on Tuesday, because I have to pick up the bike.

Count your blessings that it has rained. You know darn good and well we have been in a drought for years now.
A week after the rain stops we will be whining that it's dry.

I am actually really happy to see the lakes full, and if I knew more about how aquafers are refilled I would comment on them as well because you are absolutely correct. We have been in a drought for 5 or 6 years.

We're over 40 days straight of some type of rain here (San Antonio area). I've also done the normal stuff that usually works, no washing the bike or truck, carrying rain gear, etc....
