Wow.
Unlike the ER6i, there is /no/ consensus here. That sucks.
I'm using the S-Plugs single driver, with a Sena headset. They're really pretty good, though more than the ER6i and not quite as great for sound. The cables seem solider, however, and they're even lower profile under a helmet. The price tag is a bit high for what you get, mind.

If you buy the QuietComfort earbuds from Bose, directly, you get 30 days to try them or return them. They're pricey but will blow you away.

I ordered a set of Comply and will try them. I also cut the smallest flange off the longer plugs, found the interior to be hollow, so far, that is the closest I've come to what I'm looking for. Comfort was better, still hurt my ears after a while, and the sound was clearer. Pretty close solution.

Perhaps not the 'proper' way to put in complys, but my way;
Lick my finger an thumb (where they will touch the complys).
I touch one of the complys with wet finger and thumb (to apply some of the wet) and then (fairly softly) grab the other.
I roll the comply between thumb and finger - squeezing just a bit. Then insert that earbud.
Repeat roll with soft squeeze of the other comply and insert.
I can tell as soon as I start the engine if I've forgotten to wet my fingers and therefore the complys - it definitely makes a difference.
Comply says not to clean them with anything with alcohol. I read somewhere to use diluted hydrogen peroxide, but haven't tried it yet.

Currently have the Sony Mdr-Ex 75. It may not be the best but I have no problems with it. The bass is really good.
