Looking into some warm/hot weather riding pants and was leaning towards the regular TM Venture pants until I seen them in person and those were similar to my current TM riding pants.
If you have the Venture Air pants, how do you like them?

Got 'em, wear 'em, like 'em. I wish they were available in a lighter color and not just black (less than a primo choice for hot weather wear...
- but then that's a problem across the industry) but once I'm rolling they're fine. With the side zippers all the way up (legs fully opened) I can easily climb into my pants with my boots on. I don't wear shorts under my gear, ever; the thought of going down in any kind of pants with only shorts under them...

That's what I have now, except I dont wear anything underneath them aside from regular undies or padded biking shorts. They breathe very well, no noticeable hot spots, and it's easy to throw your knees our and cool off the boys while riding. They seem pretty durable, though i prefer something with more protection. However, when its 95+, I can't imagine using anything else. At $134 on newenough, its hard to go wrong.

I just bought a pair of the Tourmaster Flex pants from Newenough. They have a removable waterproof liner and a removable insulated liner. The outer layer unzips to expose the mesh in the legs and the lower legs zip up for easy of installation. Sounds a little complicated but I'm guessing they're good from about 45 degrees and up.

General thoughts about Tour Master gear: it wears well and is well constructed but can be a little complex (lots of zippers or tabs for the various liners). Three things I wish they'd do: 1) instructions for where all the zippers and tabs are would be nice - it's always an Easter egg hunt the first time I meet a new T M product; 2) hi-vis colors in at least some of the product line, please!; and 3) gear that's rain-proof from the outside (instead of inner liners) would be nice - although it would bump them up to the next price level, which would be unfortunate. All of that said, I consider Tour Master gear (from New Enough) excellent value for money.

Thanks for the replies!
The Flex pants look interesting-the idea to be able to remove the textile panels or replace them depending on weather (temperature) conditions would be a plus!
Not sure why TM didn't incorporate the colored-coded snap connections as shown for the Venture Mesh pants for the 2 liners??
Anyone compare any of the TM pants to the First Gear Mesh 2.0 Air pants?
If only a local shop had these to try on as I would like to get the sizing right-wouldn't really care to have the quilted lining and would like to keep from having too loose a fit.

I have a pair of the large (34-36) tall (34). I wear 34W32L jeans and these fit well over pants without the thermal liner, but will probably be snug with the liner in. I went with the extra length because I hate having my pants ride up over the tops of my boots, which is a problem with normal length pants on a sport bike.
I've worn them since May and haven't had to strip down to my underoos underneath them, but those days are probably coming. I have changed them over boots without a problem, but I normally just change out of my boots at work.
I like em

xcsp, talk to New Enough - they'll tell you what you want to know about size and fit.
