Wow, they really borked up the rear of the bike...IMO.  Compare old to new.

My old 2000 Busa with a few mods.

I had some reservation about the new Busa, but after looking back at my old one...the 2008 is one ugly bike. :pokestick:

Yeah, that tail section is crappy looking IMO.  I bet there will be some aftermarket tail sections on the market soon.  With the right tail it would look much better.

I noticed the front fender is somewhat different too.  Looks like it arcs over a hair more than before.

Great paint & BNG, and I like what they did with the front fender.

But +1 on the tail.  Maybe it'll grow on me, but right now it looks like ass.   Hurl

The tail looks like something that Corbin would have designed, along the lines of those Fugly Beetle Bags.  Crazy

Guess I'm just different.  I like the rear:

That rear shot looks a little like the evil grasshopper from Disney's 'Bug's  Life'.
not in a good way, God, it's ugly.

I'm not crazy about the pics, but I remember hating the original Bus when I saw the photos.  I'm going to wait until I see it in person.

Cheers,

Joe

Looks like they invited some designers from Victory to join them.

I always thought the bike was about being aero without the nancy boy styling so many seem to crave.  Sounds like the zx-14 boys will be seeing lot's of busa tail.

It may look better in black or copper.

Maybe not...

The white one is not on the Suzuki web site.  Are they starting with Limited Editions already or is that color for another market?  The blue is really nice with the gold wheels and I bet the tail doesn't look so horrendous in a solid dark color.

Who am I kidding the tail is hideous.

I'd like to know how the side fairings come off ... looks like there's hardly any bolts holding it on (like the first Gen Busa).

They are all pretty ugly.  They do go fairly fast.  It's kind of a trade off.  Learn to love.

The seam/line right were the rear bake pedel is at maybe where to cut/break the under belly to add a center stand, that's if it's even an option.   Shrug
