I wonder how you teach a cat to like water? Or is it that some just prefer it....

I bathed my parents cat when he was a little kitten.  Every month for the first year of his life just to make sure he knew it was something he has to put up.  I also taught him to walk on a leash and ride in the car so we could take him on vacation with us.

Why?  Siamese are prone to skin issues, and when he developed dandruff it made the oatmeal baths much easier.  He also loved the leash and going on vacation.  He was a huge hit at rest stops.  He'd chill on a picnic table and people would pet him.  A million times more fun for him than spending a week at a kennel.

Max and Rastus....

I had the honor of meeting those 2 at a BMW national rally years, and years ago.

Wow that's cool. Such a great story with a sad ending, Max + Rastus.

I had the pleasure of meeting Punky + Lew last year at the COG national.
All because some asshole ran over a water pipe with an RV. No water in the campground.

Lew saw me making coffee in the AM at my camp and came over to ask me for some water 'cause the
little dog was thirsty. Hell of a nice guy and I got to pet the dog that rode something like 65,000 miles on a KLR.

They were on a C14 at the campground.

I don't think that's a Bengal dude, that looks like a full-blood Ocelot to me or an African Leopard Cat used in breeding F1 Bengals.
Bengals have exotic coats, but not that exotic. The nose on this cat is too large for a Bengal too....
I wish we could see the ears, it would help identify the critter....
