R engines (that's the classic opposed flat twin aka the Boxer) and they start in '03 IIRC.

Whoops, last of the Airheads was circa '95, so Oilheads date from mid-90's.  I was thinking dualspark for some reason.

Vintage- pre-1970. Airheads- 1970 to 1995. Oilheads- 1994 to 2005. Hexheads- 2005 to ? K bikes- 1983 to present, with major engine change happening in 2005.
