I did a search already, and several people promoted the Joe Rocket line.  The Sonic model in particular seems pretty well perforated.  I'm north of Atlanta, and the summers are just brutal in the Aerostich.  Not thrilled with mesh, but I may go that route (with leather, like the JR Reactor or Cortech GX-Air).

Just wondering if any new brands/models are getting play, and what the answers are to this specific leather-jacket question (as opposed to the perforated leather pants thread).  TIA!

I have the Alpinestars Stage jacket, which is perforated.  It move some air, but I wish it did better.  I don't have another to compare it to, but I was hoping to feel more air moving through it.

Of course if the temps are below 60 I freeze in it.  Smile

I went from the JR Reactor 2.0 to a Tourmaster (Cortech) Magnum Perforated Leather jacket.  After wearing the Magnum for several months the Reactor feels like a skimpy t-shirt.  The leather overlays don't seem significant at all.  However, when's it's over 90 degrees and humid at all the Magnum does not breathe well.  I'd much rather take the Reactor out then.  I use the Reactor liner for both jackets when it's below 70 degrees.

I have the JR Blaster perforated jacket, it rocks....used it in Page AZ last week...it was 100 and freaking 10! Crashed well too Embarassment Tested in Missouri last month. I picked it up at Newenough a few years ago...$149...just added to the collection the MotoGp Corkscrew Perforated Jacket...139 Newenough. The Blaster seems to have bigger perforations than the Corkscrew...but I haven't worn the Corkscrew on a ride  yet. Vanson I love their stuff...but never bought any....way too pricey in my eyes...even the discounted stuff.

By way of reference, I have a Teknic Chicane perforated leather jacket (New Enough!).  It's perf'ed pretty well in the front torso, but NONE in the arms or the back.  I tend to arrive at my destinations drenched in sweat, but with hard nipples.  Not that I'm complaining, but a little less sweat wouldn't hurt.

Big +1 for the Hurricane from New Enough if they have one in your size. It's been unusually warm in the Pacific NorthWet this year and the jacket has been great. I liked it so much I ended up getting a Lightning for cooler weather as well. Great deal at $229.

You could also check out the Supermoto jacket. They had all sized available, but it looks like it's getting pretty limited now.
