I am interested in the internal width of the Cortech Sport Tailbag while expanded. I know the external width but it looks like it has pockets attached to the outside. I am hoping to fit my sleeping pad and tent inside.
Thanks in advance

Just so happens I've got mine sitting next to me in the office here.  Be aware that the bag tapers outwards from the handle end to the back end:

Inner width dimensions
12" at the handle up to 13-1/2" at the other end with pockets zipped shut.

15" at the handle up to 16-1/2" at the other end with pockets expanded.

You didn't mention if you were specifically interested in the sport tailbag to clip into the sport saddlebags or not, but if you are you should know that the larger, "regular" Cortech Tail Bag will also clip into the sport saddlebags (that's the setup I use, though mine is a few years old, don't know of newer models have changed). It has an interior compartment and a pocket on each side also, with a zippered pass-through to make one large compartment.  I was able to fit my thermarest pad 20" long in with a little width to spare. If your tent wasn't too big around and no longer than 20" or so it would fit in too.

Thanks
It looks like the Sport bag will be too small. My tent is the same length as the thermarest.
