Hey Sarchi!
Just clicked on your link to your "new" ride...very nice! But watch out...it'll still get you into trouble if you're not careful. Sorry you couldn't make it, though...
Anyways, I'm off to watch a movie or something...anything but the Leafs...just turned on the TV for 2 minutes and already to see Detroit net their 3rd...? Give me a break!
Now to dream about spring...and test riding a new KLR...or Bandit...or...

I'm thinking that listening to country music is less painful than watching the Leafs.
Who knew?

Did you hear that the woman washed overboard from that sailing ship was Bob Gainey's daughter?

All in all a good show, but I was disappointed that there was no Triumph stand there, not even a Triumph dealer stand. I wonder if they will be at the January show?
Loved just about all the bikes on the Ducati and Guzzi stands though, and the Benelli 1130 Tre was beautiful but pricey at around $27,000!
Would I really want one enough to pay more than the price of a Ducati 1098S?
Thankfully I won't have to make that decision anytime soon!
So no pic of any Triumph, but here is one of the Benelli 1130 Tre. If anyone wants to see the 1130 TNT naked version I have a pic that I will post if there is any interest. A bargain at a mere $24,000!!

Hey, it was good to meet you folks, old friends and new.
I hooked up with my wife; we didn't look at much besides scooters. We almost bought one of
these.
Started thinking about what we'd need if we ever actually did head out somewhere together and what we'd do with our dog and briefly considered one of
these.
We decided that what we really want is a Mazda Miata: much more comfortable and a lot less hassle. So I'm waiting for the car show.
Canban, I'm always up for a trip. Remember that in less than two weeks the days start getting longer again, it's almost springtime.

I question your definition of "almost", but I like your optimisim
I was disappointed there was no Ural presence at the show. I really am interested in finding out more about 'em.
And yah, what happened to Triumph??
Doesn' look good for the marque in Canada
This is the bike that stole my heart: totally impractical for my situation, waaaaay too much fun, and requiring a lottery win, in the words of the Tin Man, "I still want one".

Ural was at the Toronto show, they had quite a few bikes there. Regarding Triumph, I was dissapointed they were a no show as well. If Hyosung can make it Triumph should be able to!

I believe that Triumph has decided to fore go all motorcycle shows this year (NA). I guess you'll have to go to the local dealer if you want a look see.

Yeah, Ural was definitely there... Got to give a Patrol a good going over (MSRP around $12,700 CDN). Definitely considering one as a winter/camping bike.

Apparently, they opted out of all US shows last year and saw their sales rise. Maybe they were trying the same strategy here? And yes, no Canadian show this year is supposed to see a Triumph. If I'm correct, there are also no more Triumph dealers in Toronto with the closing of McBride Cycle recently.

Gotta love those things. I saw a guy on one this past weekend when it was gorgeously warm outside. His was all painted up in olive drab. I wonder if he had the 2-wheel drive setup?

Well, if he had the olive camo thing going that was probably the Gear-Up he was driving and it's one of the two models (along with the Patrol) that have 2WD.
