I have a 2002 VFR and yesterday when I got home I felt the front brake rotors and one was blazing hot and the left side was just warm.  I think the left front caliper is the one that also operates the linked braking system, so I don't know if that makes a difference.  I am guessing they should both be fairly hot if they are working correctly.  I am just looking for an affirmation of my theory, or to tell me that it is working correctly.

I am going to bleed the brakes today since it needs it anyway.

Stuck caliper is likely.

Do this,
Ride around the block
Coast to a stop using the brake as little as possible (usually I say "stop using only the back brake.)
Raise the front.
It shoud spin pretty easily.

Otherwise the caliper is seized.
