This one should be easy for you guys . . .

I need to replace the front turn signal on my '03 Bandit S. Can't figure out how to get the electrical connector apart. Does it just pull apart, or am I not noticing some tab or latch? I've pulled on it and it doesn't come apart, and I'm leery of putting too much pressure on the connector.

Assuming this on the front....

You almost need two hands to do to this but it can be done. First, I cut the wire from the signal so I could get a little play (just don't cut it from the fuse back to the box (that would be bad).  That tab needs to be snapped back and the pull out the connector. It took me a few minutes but I got'er done.

(I also took out the mounting screw so it would dangle a bit)

Thank you for that link! I lost touch with that board when it crashed recently, and I wasn't aware it was back online.

Hi Kemp:

If memory servs me correct, the female end of the connector has a little tab you must push down with your fingernail & then you can pull the two apart.
