I'm going to chuck a new clutch at the CBR. I know It's supposed to be soaked in oil for a while prior to installation. Should I soak it in the synthetic (Shell Rotella T) that I run in the bike and use that during the bedding process, or should it be dino oil and run dino oil in the bike until the clutch has had a chance to bed in a bit?

From what I've seen, you should use the same oil for the bath as you are running in the bike.  You can mix synth and dino, but why take any chances?  Shrug

I guess I should have added that I plan on doing an oil change at the same time.

Just pick up an extra liter of the same oil you plan to run in the bike, and soak the clutch plates in that.   Thumbsup
