try a medium. these seem to fit very tight. i had to send one back for a larger one.

it looks like they are out of the black ones now.

I got my jeans today; ordered one size larger as suggested and they fit perfect.  Two things though.  The "olive" color is really a dark brown and the knee armor is not adjustable as described.  Otherwise they are comfy and heavy duty; quite a steal!

I was informed by several sources (people who bought them) that it is... you just velcro it up higher or lower or something. Headscratch

Hey these pants run very small.  I just got a medium (10) for my wife and they fit very well and she wears a 4-6 in jeans.  I only ordered because they were so cheap and thought they might fit and they do, that is with the hip pads installed.  If I would have been able to get small it would've cost me a return or an uncomfortable wife.

I picked up a pair for the GF ( medium) She thought that the med would be to big but it was a good fit!
