1125R release party in Monterety 7/20

I received an invite from Buell (probably mass marketed) for the release party at some bar down in Monterey CA. Was wondering if anyone else from the Bay Area was planning on being there. I'll probably ride down tomorrow afternoon to check things out, hoping they'll have a demo one or two that people can take for a spin

blargh, looks like I'm probably not going to make it. Got home from work at about 4:30 this morning so unless I can con the gf into driving me there (and subsequently missing the Harry Potter release), I'll miss out as well.

If only there was a pill that could make you be awake without lasting effects :|

The release party is at a bar?  Guess you can take the Buell out of Harley Davidson but you can't take the Harley out of the Buell...
 





p.s. yah I know it now has a Rotax motor.

Yeah, when I re-read that the release event was being held at a bar... from 8p to 11:30p... I pretty much wrote off any chance of a demo ride.

Oh well, it'll be in the show rooms soon enough

I sat on one at the USGP and I liked it alot.  It looked A LOT better in person than in the pictures.  They also fired one up and it sounded great!  

Check out the Buell web site.  The reps at the race said they will be doing track demos of the 1125R in fall.
