Arrived home today around 1pm after a stellar ride from Hood River.  Found out I can go from Goldendale to home (210 miles) without stopping  Smile

Stayed in Biggs Sunday night.  Made it home today at about 3:00 this afternoon. Weather was great, but a little cool.
It was great to see everyone, and meet some new people. Had a great time especially "triple digit cruising" on 395  Lol Bigsmile
To bad Saturdays weather was iffy. But hey, riding in any kind of weather is better than going to work!!   Bigsmile
Hey Moxie, thanks for the tour of north eastern Oregon.  Gotta love those roads. Thumbsup
I"ll post some pictures later.

Man - what a fun weekend!
Start to finish - even the rain and fog over the top of the mountains. I just never get tired of this stuff.
BigBlock and I started things off last Thursday riding the N. Central Oregon roads that someone built just for motorcyclists. And it just went on perfectly from there. Even my least favorite Hwy 20 from Burns, Oregon to Vale, Oregon going home on Sunday with XLR8 was beautiful. Who needs rose-colored glasses? My entire brain felt rose-colored by the end of the weekend! Bigsmile
The photo that exists only in my head - 110 on the speedo and 6 headlights lined up in my mirror, with the Oregon hwy 395 desert pastels as a backdrop.
The great one-liner from one of those big hairy Harley guys, soaked and freezing, to XLR8 in his 'stich: "How are them little suits for riding?"
THANKS everyone!!

Yeah, that was special.  You just don't get to do that very often, especially with six other guys who like going that fast!   Cool

It's pretty cool when you can be on the same page with your fellow riders.  It makes riding sooo much more fun when everyone is in sync, especially at triple digit speeds Bigok

Unfortunately we did most of our triple digits at night therefore there was not many sights to be seen.  Lol

Yeah, but it was still fun for me.  I didn't realize it until we got back on Saturday night, and I didn't purposefully set out to do this, but I hit 115 GPS indicated in the rain trying catch up to Miles on that long straight just outside of Chester.  I was thinking about deer and so on but I figured that I had a pretty good chance of making a clean cut should I have hit one at that speed.

Yeah, I really, really don't want to get another ticket this year. I figured that 4 near misses was enough for one trip... Lol
