Need Help with BBG Route:Cal-Nev

Greetings all,
I successfully completed a MTF Regional Sponsored SS1000 on June 9 from San Diego to Parowan, Utah and back. Now all I can think about is a BBG. I designed this route-please see link:
http://tinyurl.com/ytgly6
I need help because I would like to use MS streets & Trips or some other program to confirm mileage, but I do not have that program. Could someone please help me verify that this route would meet IBA BBG route criteria. I really don't want to do this ride and have it kicked out because it does not meet the required mileage.
Any hints, tips or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

My Microsoft MapPoint 2004 puts it at 1524 miles using your roads. It isn't very optimistic about your finishing time with default speeds - 32 hours 25 minutes with no stop times. The route you chose has lots of two lane highway. You might want to change some of the route to some more slab. Also, make sure you can document the corners of your route, to prove that you were there.
When are you planning on going? Its mighty hot out there right now.

Specter,
Many thanks for checking it for me. I really appreciate it. Google puts it at: 1,516 mi – about 1 day 3 hours, so that is pretty close on mileage, but only 27 hrs travel time vs MapPoint at 32.5 hrs. Wonder why such a large difference in time?
Those roads are kind of wide open and empty, I think it may be possible to beat the computer time estimates on these roads.
Wont be doing it till Sept-October. Still have to firm up a day and do some more planning. Will revise route based on feedback I get.
Thanks again for your efforts and suggestions.

I'd also recommend trying to find something a little more open. I've not ridden all those roads along the proposed route, but have done the stretch from Tonopah down to Vegas, and that short stretch of 50 on your route. My biggest concern on that stretch from 6 to the ET hwy is that it's open range through there, and I saw LOTS of cattle and a few deer out there. The closest deer encounter I had was on 6 just a few miles west of where 6 meets up with 375. It's some pretty open area, so you can see for a long way out, but if the cattle break into smaller herds, you might have several pockets to slow down for and get around.
I don't know if Warchild has posted up any of his routes from his recent 7xBBG, but if so you might double check your route against his. I tend to stay towards southwest Interstates as they tend to have higher legal speed limits and fewer animals, but YMMV.
Best of luck on your ride!
