I'm thinking of having a Pirate Night at my place on Saturday, Dec. 23rd.  We've got both "Pirates of the Caribbean" movies (Curse of the Black Pearl & Dead Man's Chest) and we could see the entire story......thus far.

Bring what you'd like to eat/share and I'll work on what I can provide. (suggestions welcomed for pirate-food)

What say ye?

Beach house, smeatch house.  Come to think of it, what better place for a pirate raid, really, than the beach?

What kind of bike does a pirate ride?

1.  Moto Morini Corsaro (classy pirate)
2.  Harley Davidson (except for the Sportster or Street Rod)
3.  Kawasaki ZX-10 rat bike with matte black paint (broke but really scary pirate)
4.  V-Max (really fast pirate).
5.  All of the above.

I'm thinking a pirate would ride that new V-Rod...in fact I think that the V-Rod should have a pirate hat and eye patch as standard equipment.

6. None of the above (edited to match the revised list)

A pirate would 'liberate' the new Harley Davidson XR1200 and ride it like the scoundrel he's reputed to be.

Iffin' he be a pirate with any heart a'tall he'd be leavin' that thar XB1200 with yerstruly for safe keepin'.  Wink

For those interested in this little soirée it'll be in the fair towne of Redmond, WA - atop Education Hill.

5.  None of the above. Pirates sail ships. Ninjas ride motorsickles. But if a pirate was to temporarily procure a bike in order to get to his ship it would probably be a fast and stealthy FJR, he would need the bags for his booty.

Hmmm.  That's a good point, the booty storage.  Maybe a pirate rides a Ural with a hack.  Plenty of room to carry booty, plus pirates are drunk a lot of the time and the Ural wouldn't fall over at stop lights.

Although pirates probably don't stop at stop lights.  Seems like they'd be considered more of a guideline.

The Ural sort of carries that pirate aura, too.

I'm seriously lovin' the idea of buxom serving wenches, but alas.....'tis not something I can be providing.  Iffin' any of ya'll fit that description, and aren't otherwise engaged that evening, I'd sure welcome you at the Pirate's Den.

It's startin' ta look like folks on this thread are more int'rested in cool pirate bikes than commitin' ta gath'rin dates.  Iffin' the 23rd-O-December doesn't work for ya'll them I'm open to suggestions.

Fire away..........
