The Blues? Well, Muddy Waters Anyway...

Been a while since I've been in the dirt section here. It isn't because I haven't wanted to be, but because the dirt park we go to was flooded when the Missouri River broke its banks.
Well, I'd had enough waiting; we haven't really done any dirt riding all summer. I was going. I took Ty out on his KLX110 and me on my TTR-125LE. We left home clean, we came home caked in mud. It was a good time.
I've never really ridden in sloppy conditions; at least not like that. I learned a lot, like:
The scary, deep standing water troughs aren't the things to worry about; you get good purchase there (you just hope you won't get flipped by something in the water you can't see).
The clay SURROUNDING the scary looking deep water troughs is what gets slippery.
Sitting on the saddle helps (at least with bikes of this size) by loading the rear up and 'steering with the rear'
Body english is everything in these conditions.
Muddy conditions on dirtbikes and powerwashers are good friends.

Never be the first guy into that big ass mud hole!!!!Mud is fun.I've won more motos in the mud that everything else combined. The coolest feeling is going backwards with the throttle pinned on a big bore and not falling.Uphill!!!!!
