I am going to check out a 2007 ST but have been brought up short by the statement on another web site that the saddlebags will not hold a full face helmet. Confirm? Refute?

You can get a lot of things stuffed into them as long as it molds to the contours of the inside of the bag. The bags are small enough to keep them sporty but. it does piss ya off if you want to lock your helmet up. considering there is no helmet lock on the bike either. RCR

I'm not sure it's that big a deal in reality... for one there are pleanty of other ways to secure a bucket, and for another, you can't fit one in the pans that are big enough unless they're pretty well empty. My buckets fit in my Honda pans, never put them there, so it was a non-issue when I added the Sprint.

Obviously you never had a bug like a bee in your helmet when putting it on. I like to fit my helmet in the bags for that reason and some others.
