They said it was generally only a 5 mile radius.  Not all that great, but still much better than nothing.

This is a fantastic idea to get drunks off the road, I'd love to see this become common but will it catch on from the owners side?   I'm not one to play devil's advocate, but how many bar owners are gonna go through the hassle of buying a bike (or 3), hiring extra employees to make the run and ensuring all the training is kept up.  What about employee turnover? People that can't or won't ride?

I still really like the idea though.

Ok So let me get this right,

  Beendrinking, some bellhop/busboy is going to throw a sub nini bike in my trunk and drive my but home?

What if he trashes my car? who pays the bill?
gas spills in the car, who pays to clean up the mess (my puke from the smell of the gas)

can I sue? this is america is it not?

Then again if I have been drinkin (the sun has gone down YES) Ya save me the hassle and get me a buy to drive me home Wink

I still really like the idea though.


I'll ride a motorcycle on 5mile trips without traffic for $20 a shot all night long. It can't be all that hard to staff that position. It probably takes a grand total of 20 minutes for the whole trip.
