Almost all the gear. I wear jacket, gloves, full faced helmet and jeans. Sometimes I wear armor under the jeans though.

I voted jacket, pants, and helmet.  But, I don't always wear "riding" pants.  Jeans yes, but not armor like I should.

Crashed three weeks ago. I was wearing full gear despite it being a very hot day. Saved me a tremendous amount of road rash. I ended up with a a couple of sprains, a puncture wound in the knee where something pierced the armor, and a bit of road rash on the same knee and my left hand. Judging from the state of the gear, I'd be one big mass of road rash without the gear. The worst was one big ugly scrape up the left side of my helmet from the chin, across the visor to my the forehead. I hate to think what that would have done to my face and head without a full-face helmet. I'm pretty much always ATGATT, but do sometimes just wear jeans instead of riding pants for short in-town rides. I'm now researching new gear, and will not skimp on good gear.

Helmet, Gloves, Jeans, Boots. No shorts, or tank tops. I crashed in 1969 and my leg saved my Suzuki from being all skinned up. My leg on the other hand really was a mess for several weeks. No crashes since. I worked a crash last night at work. Guy crashed his 95 HD Electra Glide in a turn. I think he miss-judged the turn and entered too fast. Both he and the bike got skinned up some. His half-shell helmet likely prevented him from being killed or brain-crippled.

3/4 helmet (can't stand full face), jacket, gloves, boots, ballistic(?) jeans, i.e.: Draggin or Diamond Gusset.  Haven't been able to find a pr of true riding pants that don't look like something outta a Mel Gibson movie, or be just too damm hot.  Around town, the helmet, gloves, and regular jeans are OK, to me anyway.

ATGATT with the best stuff that works for me, I would spend more on better if I new what it was and that it would work out. This stuff does real well down here in Florida.

Need to have a "it varies" option.  I'm one of those whose gear choices depends on what I'm doing.  Do I ride ATGATT? Sometimes yes, sometimes no, and I suspect that is true of a large number of riders.

Open face, goggles, leather jacket, armoured jeans, boots, gloves, with a silk scarf to keep the flies off my face. If it's winter or I'm on a long run with rain threatened, I MAY wear a fully armoured textile jacket and trousers, boots, gloves and (I blush) an full face.

ATGATT except if I am going to be around town I will wear jeans.  I've gone 30 on the bicycle with what feels like a foam cooler on my head, so I don't feel bad about wearing jeans at those speeds.

I feel naked on the bicycle now.
