Went out riding the other day and ended up coming through Sun City, KS. I noticed a small dilapidated bar in town named Buster's and I seemed to recall that some of the KS people occasionally make a ride to this place. I didn't stop and now wonder if I should the next time I am in the area. What is the attraction? Did I miss an opportunity? The roads out there are decent and the scenery is unique.

If you like bar food, they've got it!  They also have a BBQ lunch last Sunday of the month IIRC.  That's the main attraction.  They've got alot of neat stuff in the bar, and I think a little shop next door you can buy some stuff at too.  Did you ride the road from Sun City into Medicine Lodge?  Did they get if fixed yet?  Last time I was out there, it was pretty crappy, for a sport bike anyway.

The road is good in parts. Ther will be 1/2 mile of good then 1/2 mile of old and rough. Seems to be a hodge podge.

For whatever reason, Kansas seems to know how to put together a Sunday-morning breakfast run while Oklahoma, Missouri and Arkansas have yet to figure it out. When I lived in Wichita, Buster’s was always the last ride of the month. Cassody was the first, Beaumont was the second and Cottonwood Falls was the third.
