Jack Osbourne banned from bikes

Jack Osbourne...banned from bikes but not from skydiving

ROCK LEGEND Ozzy Osbourne has told his son Jack he doesn't want the adrenaline-seeking youngster riding a motorbike because he thinks they're too dangerous.

Sources say Ozzy fears for his son's safety after a quad bike-related incident in 2003, which resulted in serious injuries to the ageing rocker, including a broken collarbone, eight cracked ribs and a damaged vertebra.

The enforced ban seems rather bizarre, as Jack is currently filming a series called Adrenaline Junkie, where he takes part in extreme sports such as skydiving, rock climbing and bungee jumping.

Is Ozzy right? Does riding a motorbike present a bigger danger than jumping out of an aeroplane?

Riding for Ozzy is dangerous. The guy can't even walk straight. He has no business being on a bicycle.

His kid would be fine and based on the tv show there is an appearent lack of control from the parents anyway. If he is going to ride he will.

We should get the WHOLE current Hollywood bunch to ride and let Darwin sort it out. Maybe the US News media could get back to reporting worth while news instead of who is going to jail for drinking and who has custody of whos baby. WHO FU

I'd rather fall 3 feet than 13,000.

Yeah really!  Guess the boy slimmed down.  Maybe he took to eating bats like his old man.   Lol

Looks like an interesting show he's doing for Brit Tv - http://www.guba.com/watch/2000837572

Too bad his dad's a pansy about bikes though!  Geesh.

I live in Anderson, Indiana which is about 20 minutes south of Muncie, Indiana were Jack O. and the other washed up stars were recruited for the Muncie police department.  They showed Jack shooting the gun on the target range, and he was actually quite good at it which in another fact is kind of scary.  Well of course the show didnt last becaused it sucked but it helped get Muncie, Indiana on the map.

I played about 3 episodes of this Adrenaline Junkie 2 show on the side today at work (split-screen thanks to a super wide monitor - yes I was still able to work, thank you), and I'd have to say this show is at least two or three times the entertainment value of most 'Merican TV.

I don't really see your point.  Long Way Round was originally done for Brit TV as well, and that was also quite entertaining.  Not to mention Mr. Bean, Monty Python, Top Gear, or any number of other good Brit TV shows.
