Just found this (don't know if it has already been posted) new style luggage locker 'black box'. Hard tankbag with ram mount and electrical hookup. Not released yet but you can 'Call us with questions or your input'.

Thats interesting... I quite like the idea, I like it a lot in fact, especially with the RAM mount on it as well. I just wonder whether it'd get in the way whilst riding?  Headscratch

i plan on doing something similar to this (no RAM or electrical, though).  a sw-motech gascap ring and pelican case would make for a very nice "tankbag" ("tankcase?").  it would be waterproof and could allow for ram mounts to be attached to it.  I guess one could also add electric if the right connectors could be sourced.

Hard case is interesting.  I already wired my LuggageLocker Tanklocker bag with the same PowerLet kit and run my farkles out of it already.  Now a hardcase with compartments would ROCK.

i thought i was super clever when i thought of getting some of those gascap rings and attaching a waterproof pelican case instead of the normal softbag... but some one beat me to the punch:

guess i'm no more clever than the next guy Embarassment  i DO wish they would offer the next case size up (pelican 1200) to be more like the size of a normal tankbag.  steering lock/handlebars, tank size, and gascap location will determine what can be fit to each bike, though.
