Going to Moab, UT this saturday as part of a 3 day trip. I'll be planning a stop in Moab for lunch. Its been 10 yrs since I have been there, so I would like to see if anyone has a lunch spot suggestion.

Nothing fancy like Italian, chinese etc

But a good Mom & Pop Grill maybe or a good mexican resturant.

Thanks in advance  Thumbsup

BTW the trip is approx 1100 miles over thress days going to Colo and the west mountain ranges etc be prepared for a ride report next week some time, But for now how about a food place

It has been a while since I was to Moab.  The last time there it seemed to have a good selection.  I can't really reccomend any place as I probably only stopped at McDonalds.

Hmm, there probably are some mom and pop places there but off the top of my head I can't think of one.  I usually stop at either teh Moab Brewery or ... shoot forgetting it's name, a diner on the east side of the road, not a bad place.  White building ... ah, ty Google, it's called the Moab Diner.  Decent place, decent food.

When I took the family to Moab a couple of years ago, we ate at the Sunset Grill on the edge of a cliff. It was a little fancy, but I don't think it was really expensive. We ate on the deck overlooking the town and watching the sun set. Going south into Moab, it's just past the Holiday Inn Express, on the left.

Breakfast - Moab Diner

Pizza -  Zak's (Zax?)

Southwestern - Eddie McStiff's

Burgers/Southwestern - Moab Brewery

There are others that are equally delicious, but these are my standards - where I can take a first time visitor without worry about the quality.

FWIW - I'd also suggest a walking tour of all the little shops along Main St. if you have the time.

Thanks everyone the ride was fantastic the food at the brewery was great as was the service.  Mondays ride ended short with a little low slide up on 92 towards Hotchkiss, Co.

Ride report to follow just been healing up and working my a$$ off. I have a big event this week and friends in from all over the country so It will be at least another week before photos and the report.

Short on the slide. I'm fine, the gear did its job fantastic, Just a briuised hand and some brusing on the right ribs (ouch) the bike is OK just cosmetics I rode it home just fine 300 miles.  1st time down on a street bike in 18 yrs
