The racing sounds like it was a blast.
Even though the 'Tard is the better choice, maybe I should take the triumph up to the track some day this summer - as I got it started with the new motor in it!
It is not running very well and needs some sort or adjustments, but for those that bet against me - It's almost rideable - and Sling was not to be seen...yet,

Congrats! Any updates?
When you get ready we could go do a Roger Lyle day at summit. Hit the beginner group and feel like heros! LOL.
I recently acquired the perfect weopon to raze the noobs with.

LOL, I do!
This bike really doesn't "egg me on" as some others I've had. Yet it doesn't squash the fun as quickly as some either.
It's evil twin was another story. (The seller had two '03 "Bee's"). The other one had full ti-force titanium exhaust, Ivan's carb kit & Pod kit w/velocity stacks, ported intyake boots, gearing was down one up front and up 3 in back. Talk about a seriously fun machine! Amazingly enough I walked away from it and bought it's boring twin.

I always thought that was one of the best 'from the factory' paint schemes. The bike looks fast and it has the specs to go with the looks!

The weather is perfect, the roads are in good shape, the FZ1 is comfy and fun. Went for a spin yesterday morning and hit some great roads. Things were clicking along great. Then the bike started to feel heavy. Handling seemed to go out the window with the bike not wanting to turn and when it did it wanted to fall into the corners. Stopped to figure out what was going on and almost dropped the bike trying to put the kickstand down.... Nope, not the bike, just my stupid Meneries vertigo thing acting up again.
I thought I had that nonsense licked or at least held at bay. Been off balance ever since yesterday. Not the bad attacks like I' had a couple of months ago, just enough loss of balance to make riding completely suck.
The good news is the local pool is open so at least I have something to do.

Until the punchline I was suspecting you had a flat tire. I had one of those once...
