Great pics - love the state signs and pics from home.

How did the new bike compare to the GS and FJR?

How did the new bike compare to the GS and FJR?

compared to GS:
pegs are higher, so knees get more tired
wind protection is much better
cruise control is awesome when on the interstate

compared FJR:
lighter
handles better
doesn't dive during braking
more comfortable
better wind protection
cruise control rocks
less power

New bike wins!   Bigok

BTW, we are off to FL for the weekend (my family event).  No computer access -- good thing, I need to stop thinking about bikes, tracks, etc.

I may be free for a short duration spin Saturday late morning or Sunday.  I may just visit DNA's neighbor.   Wink  Any interest?

Very nice ride.  Vtech out of the Temple.   Crazy  Headed to the Apple House, but DNA had other plans -- and got lost.  One of the best 90+ minute rides ever.   Thumbsup

I am certainly looking forward to the next one.   Smile

Good that you guys rode. I drove to Greensboro for the weekend. ZZR is at 15,000 miles, additional miles on the bike aren't going to help with me selling it. Crazy

New clutch is here for BMW. Bought a used GS transmission from some guy for $300 and painted it black. Hopefully it'll be back on the road soon...

Twas fun to get out - great morning to get some mile therapy.

Thinking about setting up a standardized time for a 2 hour mini-Gilligan:  Sunday 7:00 AM - every other week.

Consistance has merit.

Any players out there?

We could - but then we would have to get there at 6:30.

7:00 should be a departure time if we want top get in a decent ride and not totally neglect our children like our fathers did to us. Rolleyes
