That box could contain Joey's RTP. . ..
On a more close to home note, the instrument panel blanked on the commute in this am. There I am, riding the speed limit, tach and everything else blank. I figured I was still under power, so no worries. When traffic built, I was able to see from my reflection that while the turn signals worked, my headlights were out (and, as it turns out, so was the tail light). I figured fuse, but who knows?
The bike had no issue re-starting so I brought it by the shop. Yes, that shop. Details at 11.

Didn't the warranty expire July 4th or sometime this month?
If you need it, I have part of a wiring harness.... sort of.

If those forks arn't tweaked, why don't you get some racetech gold valves and spec'd springs so can enjoy your ride more. I found out this past weekend my vfr's stator decided to ground itself to the engine case. No fried wires or connectors but I need to replace it before I *maybe* move onto a new ride. It's part Zuk part Katoom... Mwahahahahaaaa

Sounds like a bike with an identity crisis. Perfect for you right now.
BTW - when you back in town I'd like to use your no-mar to put new skins on both bikes. The Tard has almost consumed the track tires.

Bike update: picked it up, turns out the display issue was a fuse. They also did a service, so that was good.
Headed home -- dash went out two miles from the shop.
Brought it right back.
And so the 2009 saga begins. . ..

That dealership hates you. You know that, right? Didn't you get a brand new VFR for something like 4 grand after all was said and done?
