Someone is feeling very superior just because he completed his open heart surgery before I did. At least it took the BMW 75,000 miles before it was needed. Twofinger

In terms of accuracy, DNA tried open heart surgery and punted.  He went with a transplant. . ..  Razz

I've gotten a ticket for that before.  So I told security "fine, I'll take up a whole car parking space from now on."

When you said Duc I thought of the mini monster (al la Mrs Duc) or possibly the Multi.  I have no idea about theGT1000 - I think of it as more teh old man's cafe racer wanna be bike.

I think the target demo is more like Pop than Dot, but if she  Inlove it then go for it.

I can't believe that bike would be easy to service, or get parts for.   Headscratch

I went for a little spin today.

My in laws were up so i took the 180lb 13 year oldnephew on the back of the Sprint and his dad followed on the Tard.  (BTW DOT should try the Tard just to experience  paint shaker the romps and set a standard that all other mid sized bikes can be judged against).

We went on LimeKiln and then Snickersville.  The skys turned gray, and instead of turning back or running for the pie place I asked:  Mountain or river.  "RIVER" so off we went to Mt Carmel.  1/2 way up the hill the rain hit.  We stopped by the river under a tree, but the rain showed no sign of slowing, so we forged on.

We made it home like drowned rats and the Boy almost cried for mommy, but he endured and we actually had a blast.

The cords showing on the back of the Tard will start a new "what tire thread, so everyone is happy.

NONONONONONONONO.   SHE saw this bike and that was it.  If it wasn't for the clutch being heavy, then she would have bought it right then.  She is going to think about it for a day.  Nice looking bike.   Thumbsup

She isn't buying the bike -- the clutch pull, etc.  Oh, well....   Wink

Wish I could join you - but kids=No.

BTW - I seriously think Dot should have a look at the Street Trip 675 sit up and have fun  bike of the year.

See the post here - sounds great - didn't mention leg heat, but most are not looking for it - and Triumph dealers usually allow test rides.
