I washed the road salt off GS last weekend.
At one point I thought I found an angle that looked attractive.
I was wrong. This is one ugly bike.

The side cases are on the shelf already - I will order a nice Givi silver top box with 2 mounts soon.

This is one ugly bike.
Remember: You can't see it when you are riding.
But then you stop, get off, and look.

Did I mention all the angles and sharp parts to snag your hands while washing it in the cold?

Once this week I commuted on the Dancing Hippo. I went in late, so I ended up on the third level which I haven't parked on before. I found a half-space! It looks like this used to be a 'no park' area for access to a door, but something changed and the yellow stripes were scrubbed off. So it is a parking space, but too narrow for a car (maybe a SmartCar).
I won't be using the spot for very long: I accepted a job offer. In a few weeks I will be working in a big, blue building near Rt 28 and Willard. Lots of parking and about 4 miles from our house.

Very cool.
Looks like things are looking up, or down, as the case may be.
Have fun. And please, don't buy a scooter for the short commute. . ..

Off from the usual topics:
I know there are quite a few excellent restaurants around here. There is another one now: The View at Alto Plaza, on the 3rd floor of the Alto Plaza Restaurant. Last Tuesday I met an old friend there for dinner and I was greatly impressed. Tonight Dot and I went there to celebrate our job situations (me getting another one and her promotion) -- we were both knocked over by the food and setting! Nice special which they are running since the View only opened a couple of weeks back: Buy an entree and the second one is free.
Now, I normally wouldn't post this, but we hope this place stays in business. Both night there was the two at the table I was at and two other customers at another table. Maybe they get packed on the weekends?

I drive past the Auto Plaza all the time but it always looked a bit too "night club"-ee for me. Maybe I'll try it some time.

The lower two levels are modern Mexican and quite tasty fare. The third level was a 'night club' for some time -- it was changed over to the View restaurant only recently.
hov: We drove. Good wine there to be had.

YES!!!! The chef is well aware of GF considerations. Some can't be changed, some can be, and some are GF from the start.
