No - but I did start it a few times to listen to that glorious motor in the garage.

Here's a blast from the past. Just randomly perusing Youtube and I was looking up trackbikes viddies to quell a touch of cabin fever. Just like DrD sitting around in my track gear waiting for warmer days. But low and behold... look what shows up in my search...
HOV knows this bike.... .... the loudest slowest bike on the planet.

What ever happened to you share of the race bike? Could you trade it for a snow blower or a bass boat?

That race bike went to some stunter in NC. The second race bike went to a club racer in Asheville. So did most of the gear. The only things I kept were the generator, canopy, sport chock and trailer.
All funds went to the USTA.

The neighbor and I are talking of a commercial quality snow blower. Not sure how much one of those might cost.....

If you buy it and spend serious coin - it will never snow here again.
Do it...

I think Peter should buy one. Having eight bikes stuck in the garage is just plain wrong.

I see a snow blower in my future for sure - I'm just not sure what garage it will be in

Well the streak is broken. Got my first legitimate performance award today, in all of the time that all of you have known me. I guess it's really a small price to pay for that kind of winning streak. The question is, is there any benefit to going to court when I have absolutely no defense whatsoever for blowing by a cop, on the right, wide open full throttle in a Pontiac GTO? Or should I just pay it and take my lumps? I mean, number of times I've broken the law = 8,234,368. Number of times I've been given a speeding ticket = 1*
I'm guessing "Your honor, I didn't see the cop, otherwise I would never have done that!" is not a legitimate excuse.

"your honor, this is my first ticket in 7 years, may I attend traffic school for a reduced sentence?" (ask hov how to say it in lawyer-speak) you can do traffic shool online, the judge will usually give you the fine + court costs but no points if you attend traffic school (unless that was reckless and not just speeding)

Yes - go - fight it - the cop may not show up - especially if you get it postoned (as many times as possible). Why is this important: 1) For me tickets come in groups - it's the next one that will kill your insurance - the first one is not that bad - but start getting a few and you end up like Duck. 2) you will never get the cop to let you go with a warning in the future if he seeys your record is already dirty. If you are clean - most of the times I've been pulled over you get a warning. Once you have a ticket - warnings seem to go away. 3) You will save some fees just be showing up - even if you (most likley) loose, you shoudl save $50-$100.

I would page Duck. I seem to recall that he had some familiarity with the ins and outs of performance awards. . ..
