Looks nice, but it's in MD. And doesn't have enough space for a range in the back yard.

Yeah but look at the size of that monster for that price. You could double your money if you have the patience to wait for the market to rebound. That's about 20 mintues from where mr i need a bigger house works. Room for a mini bike to circle the yard and house too. And it's Hagerstown which, if you've ever been there, you know is exempt from any actual gun laws.

Dot and I will be out riding this Sunday!!
It would be great to join up with others.
Saturday we start house hunting. Anybody know about houses in Reston?
Blue lives in Reston, he can advise you about his home purchase about 2 years ago. I'm not looking in that area...too much of a commute.

Close - I have looked at many in that area.
Problem is the water - that area is a linestone water zone.
http://dulleshomeguy.com/loudouns-limestone-district/
Basically no ground filtration so all the well water is very bad.
If you are not in the know - you think you are getting a good deal - until your teeth fall out and your kids start to stutter. Or worse.

Can't you just install a water filtration/purification system in your house?

The sign in Russian appears to have made by some US fans since it is incorrectly written and it is taunting the Soviets. Roughly, it says 'Keep the Russians on their own side.'
Peter obviously doesn't know Russian. The sign actually says "Keep the Russians in their own place" and there are grammatical errors.
Whatever, Peter is sick and asked me to get on line and tell y'all he won't be riding this weekend. He's quite wussy when he is sick.

I want to listen to Twist and Dot discuss Dostoyevsky in Russian sometime.
I'm not sure about riding tomorrow. May be possible. Sister is visiting, but she does that church thing so I may have some time.

I'd be very leery about buying anything in the 'limestone' district. The entire area of the Exeter development on the north side of Leesburg was rife with sinkholes when they broke ground on the foundations. I wouldn't be the least surprised if one day few houses suddenly went 'buh bye' in a few minutes. The location of the Giant food store on east market street sat on one whopper of a sinkhole as the builder started construction. I remember the leesburg today reporting that it took quite a few truckloads of concrete to fill it in before the town would allow building that strip mall where it sits today.
http://www.loudoun.gov/controls/speerio/resources/RenderContent.aspx?data=71baf45937fa41d3a9cf4df29c6de17f&tabid=310&fmpath=%2FWatershed%2FMap
A lot of palms were greased back in the early 90's to build the developments around Leesburg. It's going to bite someone in the ass....
Seeing as the majority of people in Loudoun are transplants, the reality of your local topography is not going to be written on your welcome brochure the developer printed out for you.
