Taro Sekiguchi.  Apparently he's out of intensive care and on the mend.   Bigok

That sure would suck to break both your sternum and your pelvis.  I can't imagine how that must suck completely.

OMG that is a scary wreck!!!!!!!!!  I'm don't enjoy watching racers of any kind crash, but that is really something to see...

In regaurds to Speed TV's coverage of Motorcycle raceing here in the states... I do wish we had more access to racing coverage here on our cable or broadcast networks, but I do think the coverage has been growing slowly over the last few years...  Maybe we could sway some of those NASCAR fans over if they saw this footage (they seem to watch races just for the wrecks Headscratch)...

The coolest thing on four wheels is still two motorcycles.

Oh myyyyyyyyyyyyy ... that one is just a huge hurt to even watch. Racers are amazing folks, especially when then come back from such events. That one is just a huge .... Ohhhhhhh .... Nooooooo ....  Sad

I am oddly fascinated by crashing ... not for the pain or the gore ... but you can take something back to your own riding from each and every one.  Thumbsup

Heal well ...

Speed shows plenty of crashes... over and over again... thank you very much (and in their defense as far as the European races, they just re-broadcast the feed, they don't direct it). It'd be cool if Speed televised 125s and qualifying, but NOT because of crashes.

I didn't watch this one either, I get no enjoyment from watching people crash ESPECIALLY when they're injured, but hoping the kid will be recovered soon.

Yeah, that's hard to watch, a guy flopping around on the track like that. Glad he's out of hospital. I did see the replay of Melandri's crash, which was nothing comparitively, but the bike was just destroyed.
