Picked up a nice '05 FZ1 today.  Thinking that I'd like to add hard bags and mount instead of using soft saddlebags.
Can someone advise what they're using and how well they are pleased (or displeased) with their selection?
Thanks.

The Givi selection seems to be the most popular.

Twistedthottle.com has picture displays, nice people.
NOTE Gen1 (yours) notoriously undersprung, no biggie but if you are adding bags Traxxion can sort.

I have to get bags for mine as well, but am gonna go with soft bags cause I got the ST for the longer trips.

For the suspension, if ya don't want to spend a lot of money on it, go to the FZO1A forum and look for the $41.50 Suspension Mod thread - do it, it works......I did it to mine and it makes a BIG BIG difference, at least you can see what the bike can feel like with better suspension without spending bike bucks up front. If you like it, and want to do it better, then spend the money and go all the way with the AK-20 kit from Traxxion and Penskie rear shock  EEK!

Givi is my preference.  I've got the E460 Monokey top box and two E360's for the sides; I interchange them as needed on my DL650 and previously on my SV650.

Picked up a set of E360 and the GIVI racks off of FZ1OA board.  Still sorting out the suspension.  Thanks for all of the replies!

Cheap is Hyperco (car strut 7 in x 2 1/4 ID in 550 600 650) and Sonic springs.
Traxxion $350 revalve/rebuild respring rear shock better.
Revalve front is if you can afford .
