I'm planning to look this weekend, and hopefully get a test ride.  Now I may just need to convince the S.O. that it's a really needed upgrade.  Bigsmile

The fact that they seem to be sitting on showroom floors is an indicator of something.  Not saying it's a bad bike (no such thing anymore really), but I think people lost interest after all the hype, delays, and somewhat neutered ZX14 performance.  Shrug

These were posted in the main forum a couple weeks back w/ my new bike announcement.

Yeah, the pipe is huge, but it's a quiet "stealth rocket". I will not be looking into the aftermarket. Function over form for me...

I think some that were waiting for a updated '08 VFR may just take a good hard look at this bike (yes, I'm one of them.)  But my ST is pretty fugly without the bags on, I'm just curious to see how the C14 may look without them.

Very nice!  Thumbsup  And still quite clean looking without the bags!  Oh my...  I'm going to have to restrain myself at the Kawi dealer this weekend...  Crazy

Holy Crap that pipe is ginormous ... also has a certain Teutonic quality reminiscent of designs by Gustav Krupp during his railway gun period.  Twofinger  Just imagine the guns and stuff you could hide in secret stash in that baby !!!  Lol

Homeland Security Border Type wearing Gargoyles:  What is that?
bubba on his new C14 wearing a whithering sneer: An exhaust pipe .. like duh?!
Homeland Security Border Type wearing Gargoyles: Yeah right ... pull in over there, you probably have a Glock and several pounds BC Bud in that phony mock up. Exhaust cans simply are not that big. Busted !

There is a waiting list at the two dealers near me. Not exactly sitting on showroom floors.

There are more than two dealers in the universe. Twofinger  And I keep reading stories of people just waltzing in to dealers for test rides or just waltz in and see one and buy.  For a bike that's "hot" and probably still in limited supply I would expect everyone of them to never see a dealer's showroom.  Shrug

Headscratch  Connies are sitting on the floor, looking a lot like FJR AE's, around here.
