Region 4 folks - what route are you taking to the Central ST.N Meet and when are you leaving?

I suspect I will be traveling solo from the Des Moines IA area on Friday, meandering through Missour-uh, and just meeting people in Eureka Springs. But I might as well ask and maybe other folks can get organized.

Hopefully this topic wasn't already started.

Even if I go solo, there's good news for me - the trip (to Eureka Springs at least) will be covered by work (mileage paid)! They need me in southeast Arkansas on September 24th, so its on my way!!! And they didn't throw a conniption about me traveling on the motorcycle.  Beerchug

Or maybe Ill watch the game down there and go home Monday.  Do they have TV down there?

My plan is to depart about 8:00am and slab to Springfield, MO (same as above).  Not sure if I will be wondering (off da slab) very much as it will be a 600 mile day and I don't want to be wondering in the dark.

Seems like the weather will be beautiful this weekend.

If there is anyone who want to designate a meeting point and time in Chicagoland (I55 & ?) have at it.

I am suppose to meet my brother in St. Louis (sounds familiar), but my confidence is not high that he will be able to make the trip.

I am thinking of leaving at 6:00 am and seeing if I make good time enough to wander off the beaten path (interstate)
