I just got off the phone with someone at Helimot concerning resizing my gloves that I recently purchased. I could easily be wrong, but it may have even been Helmut himself judging from the thick accent. Anyways...He went on to explain that I should wear them for a little while to wear in finger marks to better resize them smaller later. He explained what they do and the price, and then we just chatted about motorcycle stuff for a minute or two.
I will update the post later when I've sent the gloves back, and comment on the work that was done. However I wanted to take the time right now to give Helimot a big thumbs up on customer service. They could've just said send 'em in and we'll fix it, but they made sure to instruct me so that I got it fixed right the first time.

Helmut gets HUGE props from me. I was up in San Jose on business and decided to drop by his shop. An hour later he was still giving me the full tour of the place, including the sewing machines in the back where he does all the work!
Awesome guy and he truly lives the sport. I actually enjoy giving him my money.

+1 BMW-K actually owns the custom leathers (seen in his avatar) that Helmut made for me. I stopped in at his shop on the way home from LA a few years ago, gave me the tour, did the measurements, and was a total class act.

And another +1. Helmut made it possible for me to get some gloves that actually fit my hands- something that never happened before

and I might add - Helimot leathers are absolutely fantastic! Truly I enjoy climbing into them - they are as good as it gets. Thanks for the leathers!
