I would need to mount a dummy clutch lever  on the left side so that hand can have something to play with. Bigsmile

The Mana 850 still isn't listed on the AprilliaUSA web site but they are being imported in limited numbers...

I seen one at Xtreme Power Sports in McHenry, MD a few weeks ago. Very intersting bike, owner said it was a lot of fun.

I could see myself on this for the next decade. It's also the only bike I've come across that I would consider using as my sole method of transportation.

Can anyone help me identify the accessories? I think the bags are re-badged Givi's V35's, and the topcase looks like a V46.

I'm guessing that windshield is probably Givi too, but I can't identify it. Any ideas?

Same here. I'm really digging all the cool practical features. Donno if they are worth $9 probably $10K though.  I'll probably talk myself into it.  Inlove

Probably. With the sloping headlight and mounting points, its probably new and specific to the Mana.

I showed it to a Harley/Buell loving buddy of mine, who really dug it. He took one look at the bike with the bags and windshield and said "It's like a 3/4 scale Ulysses for $2,500 less!!"  Lol

Not sure if I'd go that far, but the practicality of this thing can't be denied. Being an Aprilia, I had actually figured it would be priced closer to $12K when I first saw it, so I was pretty happy to see it come in at $9,899.00.

It pains me to see someone turn that sporty, naked, ITALIAN bike into a baby goldwing.

Um....this is Sport-TOURING.net right? Or have I wandered into the wrong forum again?  Wink Razz Bigok

Seriously though, JamesG is right. The beauty of this setup over a dedicated grand tourer like the Goldwing or even the semi-dedicated bikes like the ST1300 and FJR, is that it converts right back to that sexy, sporty, naked Italian bike within minutes for canyon carving.

Best of both worlds in many ways. Isn't that what ST.N is about?  Inlove  Bigsmile

Different ideas of sport touring I guess.  The side cases don't bother me, but that top case puts far too much weight up high and behind the rear axle- the absolute worst place for it.  And the huge screen kills the lines of the bike.  Ride naked or get a fairing! Lol

Good thing the motorcycle gestapo isn't making you trade your 650 in for a Mana then eh?
