Swedish Husaberg enduros and supermotos are to be distributed by KTM in the US and CA.  Husaberg is a split-off company from Husqvarna, which was recently purchased by BMW.  Husaberg has been owned by KTM since 1995.

Hmm....  I guess none of the Husaberg bikes are street-legal, so maybe it is not relevant news to this board.

Despite that, I think it's interesting to see KTM trotting out its Swedish pony now that BMW has one too.

Our local KTM shop has been carrying husaberg for years. Maybe they had been imported by someone else up until now.

We've got a Husaberg dealer in our tiny little northern town of 9,000.   Headscratch

I can't imagine they sell any. I mean they're nice bikes and all, but who's in the market for a $10k dirt bike? (WAG on the price, but you know.......)

That would be close to the MSRP on a lot of the KTM / Husqvarna bikes...and the MSRP on the japanese makers is climbing close to that also.

Some of the 650 trail bikes have be dual sport ready.  Pretty easy to plate from what I hear.  Husaberg have been selling the USA for many years now, this is just a change in distrobution channels.
