A couple of friends an I are taking a trip around the Grand Canyon next week. We would like to find a motel around Tuba City or Cameron. Did an internet search but came up empty. Thought that someone from this area might be able to give us some info. Thanks

Tuba City lists:

1Quality Inn Tuba City
2Greyhills Inn
3Dine' Inn Motel
4Canyon Inn Motel

Cameron only lists:
Cameron Trading Post Grand Canyon Hotel

I have not used any of these as I am usually riding through Cameron on the way to the North Rim, or Tuba City on the way to Moab.  The Trading Post at Cameron is the only thing there other than two gas stations.  And, their restaurant is dry (read no alcohol).  Tuba City is a bit bigger, but not much.  I don't know where you are coming from, but Flagstaff has a lot more variety and only an hour away.

Cameron Trading Post would be the nicest place to stay and has restaraunt , store , & gas station there, I've stayed there several times.

I would pick Flagstaff over Tuba or Cameron.  I've never stayed over night at either of those places since they are so close to home.

Agree Cameron Trading Post would be the beter place to stay of those listed.  I see motorcyclists there all the time.   Flagstaff should be a lot less pricey and have more variety for  lodging and food and is not that far away.
