I just got a pair and was suprised how thin the 1000 denier Cordura seems.  It feels a lot lighter than the material in my Stitch Roadcrafter-I couldn't find the specs for the RC Cordura.  Not unhappy (yet), just wondering.  Ian, Iowa

Roadcrafter cordura is Gore-Tex laminated.  It's going to feel a lot stiffer in general.  I think the Motoport stuff is non-coated cordura which is quite flexible and breathable.  The coating/laminate makes a huge difference in how stiff the gear feels.
